Welcome! We've set up some threads for Community Chat and News, and a few threads for housekeeping - such as ethics, research practices, and stakeholder mapping.
We have created dedicated threads for each of the specialist groups' and their sub-categories, to foster focused conversation around these Specialist themes - Latent Effects, Rebalancing Narratives and The Institution.
For ease of use, we ask that you try to keep our Specialist Groups threads on topic. Please use the General News threads for news, updates or new topics you would like to discuss with members.
And finally, look out for our Events thread, where you read about upcoming events, and vote for the time and date to suit your schedule.

We welcome all researchers, practitioners and professionals within any field related to boarding or the global boarding school system. Due to the sensitive nature of the subject, LSBU's BSR Hub ethics guidelines only allow access to those actively researching, working, volunteering, or retired from an accredited organisation. If in doubt, please apply and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Once your application is approved you'll receive a personal log-in link giving you full access to the BSR Hub discussion and knowledge exchange forum, events, specialist groups, and research collaboration spaces.

- Research focus: This is not a therapeutic space. Please don’t post personal stories. Use care and content warnings for sensitive topics.
- Data & consent: Your information is stored securely and only used for BSR Hub purposes (collaboration, events, and forum management). We will never share it outside the group.
- Do not share any other member's data without their express consent.
- We ask that you do not post any copyrighted material without express consent, and that due credit is given to the authors of any source material shared or referenced.
